Update on the Belladonna Rezoning process: We have filed all of the necessary paperwork for the first rezoning hearing. This hearing will take place on Wednesday October 18th at 6:00 PM in the Tippecanoe room of the County office building – Located at 20 N. 3rd. St Lafayette IN 47901. If you have time, please plan to come in support!
This first hearing is to rezone us to agriculture wooded and we are not anticipating too much hassle for this first half. But we must get approved to move forward.
Once approved, we will move onto the 2nd part of rezoning which is the special exemption to keep Belladonna open and operating. This is where we need an outpour of support and will keep you updated on this.
What we need from you at this time: Send any letters of support to apc@tippecanoe.in.gov
For this hearing, letters can be super simple, something along the lines of
"I (Name) am in support the rezoning of the property located at 1351 S Sharon Chapel Rd. West Lafayette, IN. From residential to agriculture wooded."
If you are located in the Wabash township – please include that in your email!
Again once approved, we move onto the 2nd part – and we will need much more support during that time. So please stay tuned! We are far from in the clear.
