This is huge: our Sanctuary's legal status is confirmed & validated! Wait what? Wasn't it always?? Here's the scoop:   

• Under our local laws, it's illegal to own certain animal species unless you're qualified for special exemptions, which we are.
• This 2 year struggle has thrown the details of "what counts" under a microscope.
• A superior court judge recently clarified the correct interpretation of the law, and BWM has been doing it right since the beginning (we knew this already, but now it's crystal clear for anyone who thought otherwise.) 

Why is this important?

Because now our land use permit gets an update - which may open doors for revenue to care for our animals. 

Because the slanderous gossip that we're illegal can be put to rest.

Because justice is on our side.

But we still need you. The end is in sight, but we can't afford to run out of gas in the tank now. We need animal lovers to rise up and boost us to the finish line.
