Vote on Ultra 10-Year Contract - July 26

The Miami Herald reported this morning that the City Commission vote on a 10-Year Ultra contract at Bayfront Park was scheduled for July 26. The new contract offers very few limits and protections to residents - Ultra will be allowed to continue placing mega-stages across the street from residential communities, and bombard them with 110 decibels 12 hours per day. Bayfront Park will be closed for 30 days each year, with two months of post-Ultra rehabilitation to return the park to its previous condition.
