During this week's Bayfront Park Board meeting, Commissioner Carollo announced that he will bring a multi-year Ultra renewal contract to a City Commission vote on July 12. More news: Last week, the 50 Biscayne Condo Association voted to join downtown residents and retain the services of Dubbin & Kravetz LLP to “present the results of the acoustical engineering study” and to “eliminate or minimize excessive noise levels by Ultra or other mega-event sources”. The decision was made after an engineering study revealed that noise-induced vibrations caused by Ultra significantly exceed acceptable standards and are likely to cause "...damage to the fixtures, finishes and possibly the structure" of 50 Biscayne.
