Bayfront Park was closed to the public yesterday, and will remain closed through the end of April in order to accommodate three large events: Ultra Music Festival, American Ninja Warrior and the Corporate Run. According to Ultra representatives, the playground at Bayfront Park will remain open until March 15, with a clear access path from the south side of the park. The park will re-open in late April, and will undergo rehabilitation in May. With the DNA's successful efforts to move Rolling Loud out of Bayfront Park, we hope that downtown residents will be able to enjoy Bayfront Park again before summer starts.
