On Friday, Feb 2 at Noon the Bayfront Park Board will have the final vote on approving another Rolling Loud. The proposed event is expected to cause significant disruption to Downtown life, including noise, street closures, traffic congestion and prolonged park closure. Since the Park’s management allows lengthy set-up and load-out periods for these events, and since it takes weeks to rehabilitate the extensive damage left behind, it is expected that if the event is approved, Bayfront Park will be closed to the public or in a state of disrepair for five of the first six months of 2018.
