Last Thursday, City of Miami commissioners voted unanimously to appoint Cristina Palomo, President of the Downtown Neighbors Alliance, as a member of the Bayfront Park Management Trust's Board. The successful motion, sponsored by District 2 Commissioner Ken Russell, will ensure that downtown residents will have a seat at the table when decisions impacting downtown’s largest park and daily neighborhood life are made.
