We have just recently received notification from council that a submissions review panel meeting will take place at City Hall on Wednesday, 19th March.
The review panel meeting is the next stage of council’s YourSay community engagement process to hear and review in person submissions on the proposed redevelopment and lease of Balyang Par 3 Golf Course.
The YourSay community engagement process commenced on Monday 5 August 2024 and closed at 5pm Friday 30 August 2024. The engagement process provided the option for people to be heard in support of their submission in front of the review panel. Those who elected to do so will be given just 3 minutes to present their submission to the review panel.
On completion of the meeting, the submissions review panel will provide a report to council. This report will become the basis that influences the final direction and decision chosen for the lease and future of Balyang Par 3 Golf Course.

If you, like many want to save Balyang Par 3 Golf Course from becoming another driving range, encourage your friends and family to join the nearly 900 strong petition signatories in signing our SaveBalyang petition. You can also comment with your support when you sign the petition, post a comment on our Facebook group, or send us an email.
The final petition tally, and all comments will be used as a part of our submission to influence council’s decision. This may be the last opportunity to save Balyang Par 3 Golf Course and influence councils decision.
