Petition updateSave B.C. WolvesProfit repeatedly put ahead of endangered species, wolves sacrificed

A recently announced interim moratorium on resource development in part of the Peace River region - an area of critical importance for declining southern mountain caribou populations -  may seem like good news for caribou. But already-permitted logging and road building will continue throughout the moratorium. Human activities such as these decimate critical caribou habitat and have been cited as the root cause of caribou declines.⁣

The B.C. government continues to vilify wolves as the scapegoat, promoting its wolf culling program as a way to save caribou. The government is choosing extermination of wolves and other species over necessary protections of critical caribou habitat.

Join The Call, a wolf community by Pacific Wild, to see how many wolves have been killed and how many endangered caribou remain in the South Peace region. The clock is ticking for both species.
