96,000 plus
For a programme described as having low impact, Autumnwatch has an awful lot of supporters.
Yesterday I sent my third email about this petition to the Director General of the BBC. I have yet to receive a reply, so if you have not already done so, please contact tim.davie@bbc.co.uk to let him know how you feel about the cancellation of Autumnwatch.
Maybe it requires a certain number of emails to arrive before a topic is considered important enough to warrant a response. If this is the case 96,000 should probably do it.

You have rallied to the cause to fight for a programme that champions our beautiful wildlife, supports our mental health and makes us feel good; a programme that has the highest impact.
