Eight weeks ago, you signed up to fight to save the Arlington Aerials and Tigers. One more 90-second action is needed before Wednesday's final budget vote: 👉 click here to email the Board. The message is pre-filled -- just add your name.
Here's why this matters:
Last Thursday, the County Board amended the Chair's original 25% fee proposal up to 44% for competitive gymnastics — nearly twice what the Chair originally put forward. According to AAPA Treasurer Julia Olree's analysis, the proposed 44% would put Arlington's fees between $775 and $7,634 a year above local private gyms, depending on level. Our public program would cost more than the private alternatives.
Aerials and Tigers families support the Chair's original 25% graduated approach
This is a specific ask for the competitive teams. Rec, adaptive, and high school programs are not affected.
Can you send the Board one email today? It takes 90 seconds.
