Petition update

Hi everyone,
We wanted to share a quick update on the Save Aradale petition and, most importantly, to say a huge thank you to everyone who has signed, shared the petition, spread the word and chipped in to help. 

We’ve now reached 1,200 signatures! That’s an incredible milestone, but there’s still a long way to go.

The more people we can get behind this, the stronger our message becomes.

We also want to make one thing very clear about what we are asking for.

We don’t want a temporary bandaid fix. We want a proper, permanent solution.

Aradale deserves repairs that address the issues properly, along with a long-term maintenance plan to ensure the buildings are cared for into the future.

The goal is simple — to prevent ongoing closures and make sure Aradale can be enjoyed for generations to come.

We’re still in the process of finalising the Parliamentary Petition, which has been organised with the support of Joe McCracken MP. We’ll have more information to share once everything is finalised.

We know not everyone agrees with the petition, and we respect that.  The  reason we started this campaign is because we genuinely want to see Aradale saved, properly maintained and kept open for everyone to enjoy.

This isn’t about one person or one group.
One team. One dream. ❤️

If Aradale can be properly restored and maintained, everyone benefits — the tour groups, local businesses, the Ararat community, visitors, history lovers and future generations.

So once again, thank you to everyone who has supported the campaign so far. Every signature, share and contribution helps us get closer to our goal.

Let’s keep the momentum going and keep fighting for Aradale.
