There are new or improved ideas whose time has come which can improve the American Dream for all citizens. Let’s support the four presented here by contacting all of our Congressmen and inspiring them into action. 

1) A balanced budget amendment so we stop mortgaging our and our children’s future. 

2) A graduated federal income tax with no itemized deductions and a return to dividends and capital gains taxed as regular income so that everyone has to pay their fair share. (Even Warren Buffet has said that it made no sense that he paid less in taxes than his secretary.) This would not only reduce the need for IRS agents but also allow everyone to prepare their own taxes due to the simplicity.

3) Term limits for all Congressmen in order to support fresh ideas, control corruption, and prevent a professional political class. 

4) Some form of universal healthcare in order to save businesses money, especially small businesses, and to reduce prescription drug costs. This would also prevent individuals from going into incredible debt due to unforeseen health problems which might result in bankruptcy for which we all would pay.
