Allen Morris Brickell Park is a bigger symbol of a broader issue facing the whole of Miami: the drastic loss of public green spaces and tree canopy coupled with little to no community input or transparency regarding our community's future. This particular case showcases not only city negligence in handling public assets but also the intense greed of powerful developers and the need to develop every patch of green space.
