Good afternoon supporters!

I would firstly like to thank all of you for signing the petition and supporting our fight to protect the pathway into the design industry for many aspiring creatives in Ottawa & beyond.

Since our petition started, the provincial government has decided to lift its tuition freeze at the end of the year. This decision comes with an increase in $6.4 billion dollars in post-secondary funding over the next 4 years.

This news has since made Algonquin College delay their program cuts by atleast a month, leaving the future of the program in limbo.

It is important that we continue to put the pressure on the college, as they now have less of an excuse to cut such an important program from their roster. Please continue to speak out, spread the word, and share the petition with everybody you know. We must guarantee a future of success for the next generation of designers to come, and continue to supply Ottawa with qualified designers who can give back to the community.
