Abbey Keizersberg in Leuven, Belgium is one of the last functioning Benedictine abbeys in Flanders. 

Recently the abbey was taken over by a corporation that calls itself “Labora“ — almost a deliberate butchering of the Benedictine‘s motto of “Ora et Labora“ — through method of intimidation of the prior to sign a handover contract, resulting in the prior having to be admitted to the ICU and nearly losing his life a couple of days later due to an almost fatal acute heart condition from the event.

Afterwards Labora has discreetly and systematically through various methods evicted priests, nuns, and theology students rightfully living in the abbey, and is trying very hard to remove the last brothers living in their home. Their goal is to turn the historical abbey into a modern apartment complex for profit.

We are now begging for your help. Many are already willing to testify against this tragedy; interviews and articles are on the process of being conducted to reveal the horrid truth of what is still happening today. Now we need the local and international public‘s voice to help us make an appeal to the mayor of Leuven and Vatican City to save the abbey.
