SAVE 87 Bowden St - Today's Update

Good afternoon, The Save 87 Bowden Street Residents' Committee sincerely thank you for your support of our petition. We have over 280 signatures. We have emailed the Ryde representatives of Federal, State and Local Government asking them to read your comments and highlighting: the growing community sentiment about this property; the importance of protecting the Heritage of Ryde; your comments about the over-development, traffic, congestion and the issue of locating a 90 seat child care centre at 87 Bowden Street; All comments are in support of stopping the demolition of this wonderful old house; we have not edited any comments in any way; The majority of signatories are Ryde residents - residents who trust their elected representatives to listen. Ryde Council meets tomorrow evening at 7pm at the Civic Centre to vote on this development. We really, really encourage you to come along.
