We need your help now at 2serradiothon.com
You stepped up and signed the petition to save 2SER. It would be great if that was enough - but it’s not.
The reality is that without funds the crisis for 2SER is far from over. The sobering news is that despite all the love and support shown, so far the 2026 Radiothon is far short of reaching its financial target.
Where things stand right now:
The gap is real: Macquarie Uni's departure means a $325,000 budget shortfall. Costs are rising and 2SER counts on Radiothon to be able to fund the day to day operations of the station. Without a solid Radiothon, the funding gap will be even bigger.
2SER is still in crisis mode: While a scaled-down, emergency funding model was put in place to save from immediate closure, its long-term survival relies heavily on funds raised during this year's Radiothon.
Every dollar counts: If you think one subscription doesn't make a difference - you're wrong. If you've been waiting to see if we really need it—we do. Your subscription or donation is crucial.
If everyone who fought to save the station can contribute right now, we can turn this drive around. Time is running out - we need your financial support now. Donate or subscribe today at 2serradiothon.com
Thank you for standing up for 2SER, now help it get back on its feet and support its future.
