On Tuesday, April 4th, 2023, the Red Bank Regional Board of Education announced that 10th grade standalone honors English will not be removed for the upcoming school year. This news is FANTASTIC, and we are so grateful to the Board and administration for hearing us. Parents from all RBR sending towns need to remain involved and engaged to ensure that this decision is maintained in the years to come.
Throughout this process, the teachers at RBR worked tirelessly for their students. The community wants to thank them and let them know that we appreciate their dedication.
RBR has a reputation of academic excellence. Without high standards and quality teachers, that would not be possible. RBR also has the gift of diversity. Every student at RBR deserves to be challenged, engaged and motivated to learn. Parents and community members should continue to stay involved by showing up to RBR BOE meetings and working with teachers and administrators. We cannot stand by and wait for someone else to speak up. We appreciate everyone’s willingness to help by signing the petition, showing up to meetings, sending emails to the BOE and administrators and speaking up in public and on social media. Thank you to everyone who showed their support for Red Bank Regional High School and all of its students.
