Check out the latest news coverage! Schafer continues to help our cause "I believe the music therapy petition had more signatures...." He continues to tell us that our voice and opinion do not matter. It seems to me the university is quickly forgetting who makes a University; students, alumni, faculty, staff, fans and for the longest time the Sioux Nation. These are the people who can make a difference in the future of the University through donations, contributions, scholarships and endowments. I'm not sure how many of us want to move forward with a University that STOPPED listening to all of us. One more item that needs to be addressed. I am not on a timeline. I do not need to have my petition handed in to Schafer before he steps down. I am perfectly fine waiting for the new President, Mark Kennedy, to come to UND before I bring the petition forward with what we are requesting. It seems Schafer is not a President of the "people" so he might not be the right person to move the logo issue forward! Let's make sure we show Ed Schafer that we can get as many supporters as possible. 7,500 is a great number but we can outdo that number! It would incredible to reach the 15,000 supporters. Same as the number the University felt was enough to choose our next nickname!
