I wish I had a better update or any news. ICE has been silent, therefore Alisson and her mom remain in detention. There are a lot of questions posted about Alisson's mom and where she is. Allison's mom is amazing, strong, and puts the well being of her child ahead of her own every single day. You see Alisson is in family detention, which means they have jailed not only Alisson but her mother as well. Something the government should be ashamed of. We detain children and only mothers in family prisons for profit. So as not to be completely depressing, Alisson drew us a picture to feel better. We may have brought Alisson some dolls last week because she was especially down.
