The petition demanding SAPS and JMPD enforce law against illegal trade and use of property in Windsor West and East is gaining attention.
Not only do businesses run from residential zoned property without license, but trade in stolen property. As an example, it is now well known that delivering the smallest piece of steel, copper etc. will yield a few rand to the homeless for food, or drugs supplied by nearby drug dealers. The problem is that these metals are mostly stolen nearby, including fencing, gates, palisades, municipal electrical box covers, stop signs and street poles, telephone, and Municipal lighting wiring.
As this air of lawlessness invades the area unabated so do illegal businesses increase along with the levels and types of crime impacting on both daily quality of life and property investments.
Our work engages with SAP, JMPD and other relevant channels to demand that law be implemented and maintained where property is used illegally and/or in contravention of municipal by-laws. This demands daily and weekly interaction, discussions and meetings by core and fringe supporters which continues on your behalf.
We thank our supporters and urge all to take a minute to reach out to another Windsor West and East owner. Each added supporter dramatically increases our voice.
Thanks to all.
