It takes a small amount of time and how pathetic only approx 15 people could speak up at the UCSC comment Zoom meeting last night, Feb 3. This is astonishing after Measure U in June of 2018 won by the voters in Santa Cruz saying loud and clear they do not want 10,000 more students to enroll at UCSC and now that the university is only hearing from only around 15 people on the public comment opportunity UCSC will move ahead with their plan to add 10,000 students unless you, yes absolutely you, take action tonight Feb 4, 2021, at 5 pm.

• Would you rather spend hours in gridlock traffic or spend a small amount of time telling UCSC to distribute the 10,000 additional students equitably to all 9 campuses?? 
• Get going! Speak up. Tell UCSC you do not want 10,000 more students on their campus.
• It is the easiest Zoom call you could ever be on. All you need to do is ask for the Zoom link here. Scroll to the second registration field  Long Range Development Plan link. Participation It is simple. Just raise your hand in the chat and say. "It is a bad idea to increase the number of students to 28,000 at UCSC. It does not work for the town of Santa Cruz. Distribute 1000 students to each of the 9 campuses by 2040.
