IT IS TIME TO HIT THE STREETS! LET'S DO DOOR-HANGERS!! Save Santa Cruz is helping out in a joint door-hanger campaign in favor of Measure U, the City measure that will allow voters to express their opposition to plans to increase student enrollment at UCSC by 10,000 students. At a time when the City is facing incredibly challenging housing, traffic, financial, and water security issues, the University’s proposed expansion must be stopped! It is VITAL that we get a huge turnout in favor of Measure U, and WE NEED YOUR HELP. PLEASE SIGN UP TO WORK ON THIS DOOR-HANGER CAMPAIGN! Bring your friends!! Door-hangers and instructions will be distributed at the Democratic Party Headquarters in the Galleria, which is near Trader Joe’s.
