On Wed Aug 16 and Thurs. Aug 17, 4 volunteers are need to count parking with an organized group with a City of Santa Cruz transportation employee. She is gathering additional data to help people to have a better understanding of peak parking demands throughout the city of Santa Cruz. 4 Volunteers are needed for a total of 8 parking counters. (4 volunteers have come forward.)
When: Wednesday, 8/16 3:45-6pm
Thursday, 8/17 3:45-6pm
Where: Soquel, Water, Mission, and Ocean. As soon as Claire Fliesler has a headcount, she will define a meeting place and send additional information.
What: Parking occupancy counts
How: If you’ve never done this, don’t worry! We will pair people up in teams to count, provide maps, count sheets, clipboards, and instructions. City staff will be on-site and available the whole time to answer any questions. No experience necessary, just a good attitude and a willingness to walk
