YOUR PRESENCE IS NEEDED VERY IMPORTANT MEETING This coming Tues., June 27, 2017, The Santa Cruz City Council has advised a meeting will be held at the Civic Auditorium and invites as many community members as possible to join in. The evening meeting will be entirely devoted to housing. City staff will provide baseline historical and contemporary information about the status of housing in our community. This information will serve as a launching point for greater data and policy exploration as we move toward shared solutions. Those that have signed this petition and others need to show up in FORCE so that the City Council hears LOUD and CLEAR that we will NOT be San Jose by the bay. All those in favor of not becoming San Jose by the Bay please attend and bring others with you. We do not want developers coming in a crowding our town with 5 and 6 story buildings. Affordable housing is one thing but developers making huge profits without enough affordable house to make a difference is another. THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT MEETING. BE THERE.
