Do you feel it is right to have a biased committee made up of 3 Property Managers, 1 Architect, 1 General Contractor, 1 Structural Engineer, 2 Land Developers, 2 people who run businesses in Santa Cruz that would benefit from higher density, 1 housing planner as a member at large, 1 bicycle advocate who represents as a general member at large to make up the corridor commission without any representation for the geographical area in which the re-zoning would change is right? Come voice your opinion. Do we want more crime, density, traffic, water depletion, noise, air pollution and congestion? Would tourists wish to visit a impacted city during their vacation? Many of you have voiced real concerns in the comments on this petition. This petition alone will do nothing. WE NEED TO ATTEND IN PERSON THE PUBLIC HEARING. THIS MARCH 23RD MEETING IS A PUBLIC HEARING. Those that have attended numerous meetings cannot fight this alone. We have been told only the same people have attended the meetings. Therefore, it is IMPERATIVE that YOU come to the meeting. If you feel the re-zoning should be located on the San Lorenzo River, downtown, Bay Ave. closer to UCSC or another location where people do not need to travel through from one point of Santa Cruz to another COME TO THIS MEETING. BRING A FRIEND, A NEIGHBOR. BE PRESENT BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE TO VOICE YOUR OPINION. We need to speak up. This special public meeting is for this purpose.
