- City Council accepts only 30 general public comments, first come, first served, so sign up ASAP if you want to speak.

Showing up is making a difference. After strong community turnout, Bernalillo & Sandoval County leaders are drawing the line on an ownership change of the Sandia Mountains:
- In Sandoval County, which previously passed a resolution supporting the transfer, County Manager Wayne Johnson has said Sandoval County is prepared to rescind its support if the proposed legislation would make the 10,000 acres Pueblo land. Read Sandoval County's position
- In Bernalillo County, Commissioner Walt Benson has publicly opposed the transfer, writing that "public access should not be at risk". Read Commissioner Benson's op-ed
