Our voices are being heard—and tomorrow is another important opportunity to speak up.
This week, 25 people spoke during public comment at the Bernalillo and Sandoval County Commission meetings in opposition to transferring 10,000 acres of public land out of U.S. Forest Service management. Speaker after speaker urged our elected officials to pursue solutions within the balanced framework Congress established in 2003.
Thank you to everyone who showed up and spoke. That strong turnout sent a clear message—and now we need to bring that same message directly to Congresswoman Melanie Stansbury.
