Four years ago, I launched this effort & petition to rename a street in San Jose after President Barack Obama. To get it done, a dozen community advocates and I formed the Barack Obama Boulevard Committee. In January 2021, the San Jose City Council supported our Committee's efforts by voting unanimously to rename a street in the center of San Jose "Barack Obama Boulevard." This Saturday is the culmination of that effort. We will be walking down the new Barack Obama Boulevard and then have a dedication! Would you like to join us?
