Priority to the campground will be given to the most at risk people, including seniors and disabled, as well as mothers and children, he said." 200 is a start, but NOT enough. There are over 1000 Unsheltered San Diegans in Downtown. As several of us have pointed out since June, the vulnerable people rightly prioritized for this campground will NOT be safe in the 3 Megatents set to start opening in 3 months -- which are now going to house 1000, rather than the 300 announced by the Mayor last month?
