We lost 2 more innocent lives...

This may come out harsh & I may be wrong for what I'm about to say but I don't care at this point.
The Devore dogs have been continuously ignored, passed up, generally forgotten.
I know why. This shelter does not temp test & does not allow pretty much anything that would afford rescues the opportunity to make informed decisions if a particular dog is one they can take into their rescue. The easier thing to do is to pass on helping because of all the uncertainty. It's easier to move on to a shelter where you can get the information needed to better understand what a dog is like. But this is not the dogs' fault, this is not something we can control or change at this time but it is something that does not have to stop anyone from saving lives that have so much stacked against them.
Right now I am angry, sad, frustrated, overwhelmed, tired.
I know the killing is not only happening here. It's happening everywhere. But what I do not see is dogs being passed up simply because of where they ended up. That alone is a tragedy in itself.
The Devore dogs need help....
