When a shelter such as Devore continues to murder YOUNG and HEALTHY dogs when there are EMPTY kennels in the shelter, one must wonder what their motivation is for making the decision to KILL daily. **Small dogs who are obviously fear biters are made RESCUE ONLY and are euthanized, what is their motive? ** Dogs deemed aggressive who received ZERO testing by an animal behaviorist are not even offered to the rescues to be saved, but are just murdered for no valid reason. What is their motive? ** Pit Bulls, German Shepherds and Huskies are the most vulnerable when ending up at this shelter. These dogs may average 5 days at DEVORE before being EUTH LISTED and then once EUTH LISTED, are killed the same day or within 1-2 days later. What is their motive? What are their motives for murdering defenseless, terrified, scared, sad, devastated dogs and cats - DAILY? How are their dreams not haunted by the faces of these dogs. People think that euthanasia in the shelters is HUMANE - it's not, it's brutal and these dogs SUFFER horrible and prolonged deaths. It is not a peaceful passing. What do they tell their children about their day? What do they tell their children about their jobs? What is their motivation? If I was a betting woman (and I have been known to bet every now and again), it has to be the age old motivation of money. Somehow, someway, this all goes back to money. Do dog's just disappear? Where do they go? Are they being supplied for nefarious activities? Sounds like a plot straight out of a movie plot doesn't it? SOMETHING motivates these "people" to murder young and healthy animals day after day after day. Think before leaving your pet in a shelter - think TWICE before leaving your pet at Devore - chances are HIGH that your pet will not make it out alive.
