Currently, the camera software in Samsung smartphones launches the last used camera. This means if the front camera was active before exiting the last time, the front camera will be opened the next time. This is undesirable because it causes missed moments.

Having to remember to switch back to the rear camera before exiting is inconvenient. For this reason, we are asking Samsung to add an option to always start the rear camera, regardless of whether the front or the rear camera was used the last time.

This would be very easy for Samsung to implement, and an option to start in photo mode instead of the last used mode already exists, so there is no reason not to add this option as well.
