Mayor Pro Tem Negrete and Council Members Parra & de la Torre have LISTENED to our neighborhood’s concerns.
They have put a request, Item 16 J, on the agenda, to replace all proposed Permanent Supportive Homeless Housing with Senior Affordable housing.
Our neighborhood is an ideal place for seniors to age in place close to markets, pharmacies, medical offices and other services.
This change would create a better fit for the families who will be new residents of the housing projects and all of us in the Mid Wilshire neighborhood.
This will be voted on by the City Council at the end of the night.
You can also voice your support earlier in the meeting under Public Input, Item 2, since the proposed project is also being discussed in Closed Session.
Your opinion and support are SO VERY IMPORTANT.
Continue to take a stand for our neighborhood.
Bring your family members and neighbors.
This affects all of us: Renters, Condo Owners, Property Owners, Businesses & their employees and all the children who live here.
