Wow over 300 signatures!

Thank you all so much for sharing and signing! In times like these nobody is thinking of the dangers public transit workers are facing. Just as of a few days ago TTC has allowed their drivers to wear masks, now if any of you have tried to purchase ANYTHING you’ll know the shelves and stock of N95 masks are sold out everywhere. The TTC held back on this because they didn’t want the negative Association of the virus with the transit lines. The TTC won’t even pay for masks, gloves, etc. 

These workers are having to our of pocket pay to be protected at work, if they’re lucky enough to get any products that can help them. 

While transit is an essential service these courageous drivers should at the very least be protected and compensated for putting their lives on the line for the public!
