PETITION FOR THE IMMEDIATE REMOVAL OF FREMONT COUNTY FAIR MANAGER PAT HART DUE TO GROSS NEGLIGENCE, MISMANAGEMENT AND MASSIVE FINANCIAL RISK TO TAXPAYERS BY WILLFUL DERELICTION OF DUTY

We, the undersigned fair and facilities patrons; citizens and taxpayers, respectfully demand the immediate removal of Pat Hart from her position as Fremont County Fair Manager.

For years, Ms. Hart has demonstrated a blatant disregard for critical obligations of her position as Fair Manager, thereby exposing Fremont County taxpayers to severe financial penalties, undermining the ethical and lawful operation of the Fremont County Fair, while jeopardizing the future of this 112 year old Fremont County institution.

Public officials, whether elected or appointed, have a broad fiduciary duty to carry out their responsibilities in a manner that is faithful to the public trust that has been reposed in them. The continued employment of Pat Hart in this critical management role constitutes an unconscionable and unacceptable risk to Fremont County and its citizens and a breach of public trust. We demand the Fremont County Fair Board act swiftly in their fiduciary duty as public officers to protect the public they serve, safeguard public funds, and to ensure the ethical and lawful operation of the Fremont County Fair by immediately removing Pat Hart from her position as Fair Manager.
