A big win for the Okefenokee Swamp!

The Okefenokee Swamp is safe from the threat of a controversial mining project! An environmental nonprofit organization, The Conservation Fund, has purchased the land previously owned by Twin Pines Minerals, effectively ending an ill conceived mining project along the Okefenokee Swamp.
