Please submit public comments before close of business on 14 February at sc160project.com.   Please continue to pressure local leaders and businesses to advocate for SAFE pedestrian/bicycle right-of-way to be included in this project.

I sent a final letter to Mr. Berry Mattox (project manager), South Carolina Department of Transportation, and local leaders and included the petition with the 1700+ signatures and many great comments:

Mr, Mattox and SCDOT,

As the day closes for public comment for the future I-77/ SC160 interchange reconfiguration,  I want to thank you for the information, discussion and support.  I also want to make one final emphasis on the importance of connecting communities and business along SC 160 between Fort Mill and Tega Cay with a SAFE right-of-way for pedestrian and cyclists.  This essential feature for an exceptional community should not be overlooked or become an after-thought.  If we place the appropriate emphasis on the pedestrian/cyclist aspect of this project, the residents and businesses of  Fort mill and Tega Cay will celebrate the ability to move, connect, and promote healthy living for many years to come.

The Bike/Ped Coalition of York County (BPCYC) gathered over 1,700 signatures and will to continue to advocate for pedestrians and cyclists throughout York County.

Thank you for your time and support,
