Please continue to share the petition, spread the word, and write to local leaders!!  OVER 1,170 SIGNATURES SO FAR!!

Steve Yaffe and myself were interviewed by CN2 new on 22 Jan regarding the petition and growing interest in including a SAFE pedestrian and bicycle right-of-way across the SC-160/I-77 interchange during the upcoming design of the new interchange.

I also spoke with the SCDOT project manager, Berry Mattox about the 30 January meeting....

He said the funding for the project is based on “purpose and need”.  We must let out leaders know what is important and what we want in our community.  There is still time for our voices to be heard and influence this project!

For those who cannot attend the 30 Jan meeting Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 5-7 PM at Real Life Church, 1930 Pleasant Road,Fort Mill, SC 29708,  there is also an ONLINE MEETING interface is JUST AS EFFECTIVE as attending the meeting in person!  The project manager, Berry Mattox,  reassured me there is still sufficient time to provide input on the SC160project.com online meeting.   You can also send comments/suggestions directly to Mr. Mattox at mattoxtb@scdot.org.

New diagrams of the 3 alternatives have been posted to the SC160project.com.
