Every town has a park, as it is the center of attention, the place where everyone wants to relax, take a stroll, or to even just hang out with the people they love. But every park needs to be protected to obtain a place that would be filled with joy and laughter. So how can we make our town parks a safe place? Because in every corner there's always something or someone lurking in the shadows ready to attack, or mishaps with what's around our community. We can fix and maintain equipment? Install more security cameras or patrols? Regular cleanups? This petition can show more and why we should do more, to at least improve step by step.

 

 

The most innocent places are always the unexpected spots for trouble. There's cases in parks where kidnapping, stealing and even murder occurs. It's something that we should prevent, and change. When us citizens are just looking for a place to enjoy themselves, there's these types of issues that are being normalized. 

As well as for the greenery of our parks. Parks are expected to be a bright, and fun place for us to escape reality. But how can we when there's trash, toxins, and rodents everywhere? 

 

 

We take people's safety seriously as this is a world where anything can happen. So why not increase presence? Encouraging regular police or park ranger patrols, and install emergency call boxes or panic buttons, to ensure safety, for any physical or mental issues. Make cameras visible as a deterrent for no harm to the citizens. 

To give parks more spice, we should have volunteer programs once a month for community clean-up events as well, it's not just to make our parks cleaner, it also involves more interactions with one another. Great way with engaging, and speaking of engaging, suggestions on how we can improve our parks are well advised, creating a park advisory board with local residents to keep improving park conditions long-term. 

We can also add pet waste stations Installing dog waste bag dispensers and pet-only trash cans. Adding signage encouraging pet owners to clean up after animals, because our pets also deserves to relax outdoors, is there a reason they shouldn't relax at parks? 

 

 

There’s a lot more we can do to help keep our park safe, and with your help we can keep improving, and give more contribution to our environment. This is not just for us, it's also for a more healthier world. With a safe park, comes with a lot of happy hearts.
