We want to inform you about an upcoming BGE Community Meeting that our team plans to attend. This meeting is organized by BGE and will focus on the Brandon Shores Retirement Mitigation Project. It will be an opportunity for us to learn more about BGE's plans, ask questions about the project’s impact, and raise concerns from our petition.
This is not a meeting that we are organizing, but we encourage everyone to register and attend. This could also be a chance to address questions directly to BGE representatives and possibly to legislators who might be present. Please note that capacity is limited, and once it’s filled, registration will close—so we recommend registering as soon as possible to ensure your spot.

At this meeting, BGE will discuss their plans, which include the installation of a 350 MVAR STATCOM in the Future Marley Neck 115kV substation yard and the construction of a new 230kV substation west of Solley Rd.
