There has been a late surge in popularity for this petition, which I started in an effort to head off this unwelcome development.

The Embankment now crawls along at 20MPH and for what? The cyclists now overtake the rest of us. Perhaps that was the idea.

Unfortunately the anti car lobby continues almost unchecked with Rod King MBE linking exhaust fumes with the coronavirus.  There is no such link. He is also misinforming that there is little pollution in London now due to a lack of cars. Again, not completely true, plus we could have no economy left if he gets his way. He is even calling for low speeds on the Autobahn.

Please continue to push for the removal of 20MPH restrictions across London. It is not too late to get some publicity.
