Is Nick Ferrai A Racist Bigot? Should LBC allow him to broadcast?

The Issue

DEMANDS:-

1. For Lbc Radio to employ a diverse range of communities to present on the station

2. That Nick Ferrari gives a public apology on air for not respecting opinions and the right to freedom of speech. For this reason, his resignation should also be considered.

3. That Nick Ferrari retracts his stand on the police not wearing PPE and for him to challenge the Commissioner of Police on why they are not wearing PPE. Many lives have been lost and more lives can potentially be lost because of the little care in this area towards the BAME and other vulnerable communities.

Please sign and share this petition to others that would agree for multiculturalism to be seen on this radio station, for Nick Ferrari to apologize for restricting freedom of speech and for his resignation to be considered.

LBC: Where your opinion counts

I have made a formal complaint to OfCom and Lbc Radio because of some of the presenters that have  come across as being racist if not bigots and Nick Ferrari has proven to do this on many occasions and the billboard, ‘Where your opinion counts,’ is certainly not the case with him. The question that also needs to be raised is if the radio station reflects on the multicultural society that we live in today.
I have been listening to LBC radio for 12 years now and I do enjoy listening to the station, although, it is now that time that the station does push for a fair balance of presenters that would reflect the true multicultural look of Britain. Maajid Nawaz does a wonderful job as one of the presenters and does represent his Asian community as well as the UK on the station, but unfortunately we do not have anybody that does represent the black community on LBC Radio.

With there not being this diverse balance of presenters, the station pushes out the narrative of white culture when the radio station is located in Central London, a cosmopolitan city so this in turn projects elements of institutional and systemic racism. Nick Ferrari said in this month, on a Sky News program lead by Afua Hirsch, that if is she is not happy why do you stay in this country? That can only be the undertones of racism and this info came out on the 9th June 2020 that I will speak more about shortly but Nick Ferrari’s resignation has now gone viral shown in this Facebook link:

The very much appreciated voluntarily leave of Nigel Farage was welcomed by some if not many, I believe, as he compared #BlackLivesMatter to the likes of the Taliban around the 10th June 2020. It’s not clear if that was [also] the reason why he left LBC Radio but what he said was very dangerous and is a sign that much change is needed from this station with regards to who they have broadcasting on the station as they often have extreme right wing presenters. I even spoke to Ian Dale on 17th June 2020 8:30pm that made reference to Tony Blair, the PM at the time in 2007, that Tony Blair made an apology for the slave trade and he felt and implied that this move was suffice without the need of implementation. That could either have been seen as being racist or ignorant but either or both is not healthy as I did challenge him on this so you can listen to that debate on this link:-

On 4th June 2020 I phoned in to speak to Nick Ferrari about taking the knee for George Floyd and the job role of the Police. He did not make me feel as though my opinion was worth listening to and even made me feel as though I was being a dishonour and unpatriotic to our country when I wasn’t doing any of those things. I was just simply pointing out the conduct of the police’s behaviour which I believe would be subject to magistrate and state. This felt just as impactful as Nick Ferrari asking Afua Hirsch why do you stay in this country which can be misunderstood to why don’t you leave the country. This has also gone viral on YouTube as it seems as though many are asking for Nick Ferrari’s resignation. The only thing that has not been done is a petition so please sign and share this soon as you can. The YouTube link that has gone viral:-

The experience I also had with Nick Ferrari was his lack of understanding of showing solidarity to George Floyd’s killing by some police officers wanting to take the knee and his disinterest in police officers wearing PPE that would certainly be a danger to BAME and especially the black community because people like him are forgetting that the black community are four times more likely to be stopped and searched than white people. If the police are not wearing PPE and the black community are constantly being stopped, then there should be no wonder why so many black people are dying of this. Are they trying to send out a message that they want the black community to die of this disease nonetheless the rest of the vulnerable communities? Very little care seems to be given in this area? To listen please copy and paste the link below for the debate with Nick and I:-
