Dear Londoners

We are a group of youngsters (guardians of the environment ) working together with Shpresa Programme as part of the Keeping it Wild project with London Youth, London Wildlife Trust, Headliners UK and John Muir Trust.

We would kindly like to draw your attention to few issues that our environment and green spaces are facing today, as they need immediate attention.

- We want more attention given to green spaces and parks

- We want to feel proud to be young Londoners, there should be more action taken to keep parks cleaner and safer 

- We want organisations like Shpresa Programme to be able to organize cultural events with important themes like Nature, Environment & Mental Health 

- We want Stratford Park to become our safe haven for most 'Guardians of Nature' activities

 The COVID-19 crisis has demonstrated clearly just how important our green spaces are to people and communities across the country, particularly for those without access to outdoor spaces or a garden. 

Investment in green infrastructure would help benefit our nation's mental and physical health.  Increasing green spaces would support carbon reduction delivering health benefits for all.
