As Concerned Citizens of Zimbabwe, we hereby petition the United Nations and other international organizations to oversee the distribution of aid to Cyclone Idai victims. Cyclone Idai hit Zimbabwe on March 16th, leaving many Zimbabweans displaced, homeless, orphaned and with nowhere to go and no food to eat. We the people of Zimbabwe are truly grateful to the International community that has stepped in and donated aid. 

However, the government of Zimbabwe under the ruling Zanu PF party has been discriminating against opposition party members. Aid is not reaching those who need it the most and citizens known to be members of the opposition party are being denied aid.  There have been reports that most of the donated aid is being taken by the ruling Zanu PF party (video and newspaper reports evidence is available). We implore the international community to intervene and make sure food and medical aid are reaching needy Zimbabweans. We hereby request that the UN sends in its forces to distribute the aid at designated UN Centers to avoid discrimination against opposition party members and also ensure that every needy citizen receives aid.
