Music is an important part of the lives of many students and people around the world. As choir students, we are not only given the chance to work together to sing beautiful pieces, but we are given the chance to express our feelings and emotions when we would normally be too scared to do so. We are given the chance to change the world through the pieces and songs we sing.

We, the choir students of Sacred Hearts Academy, may have this wonderful opportunity taken from us. Our Choir program is in danger of being suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Please help us save our program so we can continue to help make the world a better place through the beauty of the voice.

Possible solutions would include:

-Virtual performing outlets

-Composing opportunities

-Music theory skill building

-Cultural music literacy

-General music skills

-Exploration of alternate instruments besides the voice

-Musically historical and contextual research and advocacy opportunities
