The brazen abuse of the democratic planning comments process has continued apace at the hands of Rockwell Property.

In the first week of April alone, 214 letters of support have been posted to the planning portal. Most are dated on just two days - 94 on 2nd April and 93 on 7th April.

Virtually EVERY letter gives a remarkably similar reason for supporting Rockwell's "toxic tower", entitled One Battersea Bridge. And I can reveal the reason for this uncanny coincidence...

Yesterday, I tracked down and interviewed a Battersea resident who is named on one of the newest letters. It turns out that he was in fact an early signatory to THIS PETITION and is vehemently against the development proposals. So, what happened?

My interview will be published on The Chelsea Citizen soon and it will lay bare the crafty tactics used by the door-to-door canvassers employed by Rockwell to trick people. It makes for uncomfortable reading - if you are presenting yourself as a reliable and trustworthy property developer, capable of delivering a grand scale project.
