Hello All
We have had 600+ signatures to the petition in the first two days, which is a strong start. Thank You for the support.
But this campaign does not stop at signing. This petition is just a focal point to drive action and to provide information.
We must all contact the people who will be making the decisions about this appalling development proposal. Below is my cut-out-and-keep guide to Objecting (or, indeed, praising).
Time is short. Comments close on Thursday, 20th June. Get on it today and file your thoughts. No slacking!
Please also share this link to the petition page to all and sundry ASAP. Schools, business, local groups, clubs, RAs.
By the way - the image above is Whistler's beautiful painting looking from Chelsea to Battersea. It has been re-imagined by Sir Terry Farrell and his team at Farrells and is called 'Nocturne in Blue and Green-backs'.
Farrells are the Kerching Kings of high rise builds and they sure do love their foreign investment fund dollars. (More to follow soon on who is really behind the OBB development...)
Onwards...to the 34th floor.

How to object to (or praise) One Battersea Bridge
1. Make a Comment to Wandsworth Council about the planning application on its website here
2. Or email your views to: planning@wandsworth.gov.uk
3. The responses to your comments will be handled by the case officer Shanali Counsell. You can email her at Shanali.Counsell@wandsworth.gov.uk - although it appears that emails to this account are currently bouncing back.
4. The development is in Battersea Park Ward. The campaign needs local political support. We need to find out who is really on board. Email your local councillor if you live in that area. Get them working for us. All ward councillors are Labour. They are:
Councillor Tony Belton (Labour)
Email: Cllr.T.Belton@wandsworth.gov.uk
Councillor Juliana Annan (Labour)
Email: cllr.j.annan@wandsworth.gov.uk
Councillor Maurice McLeod (Labour)
Email: cllr.m.mcleod@wandsworth.gov.uk
5. It is not yet clear who will be sitting on the Planning Applications Committee when this proposal comes forward for decision. But Tony Belton is the current chair and his deputy is Cllr. Fiona Ayres - cllr.f.ayres@wandsworth.gov.uk
I will be writing to ALL of the above today.
