Avant-propos: ne faite pas de don a la plateforme change.org, bien que généreux, cela ne contribue pas à notre cause, il y a plus d'impact à partager la petition que d'en faire un don. Votre don sera plus utile si envoyé directement à des personnes victimes du conflit. 

Récemment, deux écoles juives à Montréal ont été la cible de fusillades. Heureusement, il n'y a eu aucun blessé, mais nous ne devons pas attendre qu'un événement tragique se produise. Les institutions juives (écoles, synagogues et centres communautaires) sont des lieux importants pour notre communauté et ils méritent d'être protégés. Depuis le conflit Israël-Hamas, la communauté juive mondiale est victime de nombreux actes antisémites. Nous demandons que le gouvernement prenne en charge notre sécurité, et que la police soit déployée. Ce n'est pas normal que ces institutions doivent se charger de leur sécurité par leur propre moyen. Il est temps d'agir maintenant pour garantir la sécurité de nos enfants et de nos familles dans ces institutions. Signez cette pétition pour montrer votre soutien à une protection accrue des institutions juives à Montréal.

PPS: La Fédération CJA a demandé une augmentation de la présence sécuritaire par la SPVM et a donné un budget sécurité aux institutions juives - mais c'est au gouvernement de financer ces actions, et de s'assurer d'une présence armée dans toutes les institutions. 

Merci à la SPVM pour sa présence accrue, ce qu’on aimerait c’est une présence permanente.

Recently, two Jewish schools in Montreal were targeted by shootings. Fortunately, there were no injuries, but we shouldn't wait for a tragic event to happen. Jewish institutions such as schools, synagogues, and community centers are vital to our community and deserve protection. Since the Israel-Hamas conflict, the global Jewish community has experienced numerous anti-Semitic acts. We urge the government to take responsibility for our security and deploy the police. It's not normal for these institutions to handle their security on their own. It's time to act now to ensure the safety of our children and families in these institutions. Sign this petition to show your support for increased protection of Jewish institutions in Montreal.

PPS: The Federation CJA has requested an increase in security presence by the SPVM and has allocated a security budget to Jewish institutions. However, it is up to the government to fund these actions and ensure an armed presence in all institutions.
